The Jetman is one of those strange objects that make this old game new again and inspire your creativity.
Until recently, I used it only as AI in BAT.
Time has come to test in Ultrapack in the Multiplay mission.
Some observations to share.
Excellent roll and climb. Turning OK but you need to get used to it. Air break is very useful. Auto stabilisation sometimes doesn't work and requires turning off/on and tinkering with speed and angle of attack. Stable in flight. Stall speed is rather high.
Not a glider. Once fuel is over, you are a brick.
About the fuel: 50% is enough to climb to 3,000 m and then fly 11 min at 700 km/h TAS.
I didn't experience overheating or flame outs so far.
Taking off is a no brainer - from standard runways and the carriers, including stationary carriers. Do not turn off the chocks on the stationary carrier until the take off.
Taking off from the Stationary Ships runways is possible only from "without collision box" types.
If you spawn on another type, chocks don't work and Jetman moves chaotically and crashes before you take off.
Landing is possible but needs a lot of training. High landing speed. Air breaks help again. So far, I can successfully land only with external view and only after hitting the ground a few times with the Jetman belly.
Jetman's guns are powerful (what are they, 88 mm?). Sound is very loud and its pitch is probably not for everyone's taste. Maybe it's just me.
Shells hitting the ground target or just the ground produce nice visual effects. Unfortunately, FPS drops significantly, for example, from 200 to 40, from 140 to 30, etc. Very short bursts are recommended.
Is ammunition unlimited? I pressed the button until I was tired.

No gunsight, so you need to disable "Cockpit Always On".
Piot is tough. He can survive after hitting the runway with his head and body at 250 km/h. Real Iron Man!
All in all...
Very cool mini-jet for "jet punk" and alternative history missions. Can be used as a substitute for UAV in Ultrapack, because why not. Disabling the switches "Cockpit Always On" and "No External Views" are recommended.
Many thanks to talented creators who brought this thing to the game!
