How do I know if the DANGER_ZONE_Patch01 installed into Danger Zone 4.3 correctly?

When I clicked on the patch application it did something for a few seconds and that was it.  There was no message "you installed this" kind of thing.

I fire up the game and it says its Danger Zone 4.3, but not like 4.3.1 or something saying patch 01.

It won't say 4.3.1 because that would be a new version.
Quick way to see if the patch installed would be to check out the new subs, if they have shadows which the patch is meant to do then the patch has be installed.

I don't see a shadow, but I don't know what they are supposed to look like anyway.

Select the new Italian submarine Admiral Cagni, in-game it should have shadows looking like this.
If there are no shadows as you've stated then the patch was not installed.

Wing Walker, with any future patches, you could just 'install' the patch into an empty folder, then simply copy the resulting files over to your BAT folder. That way you would be sure.

I typically do this as my BAT is heavily modded, and that way I can see precisely which files are being changed by the patch, and by extension, which files I will have to modify to restore all my mods.
