Historical armament for Il-2 plane models from update 4.13 does not work if the records for the appearance in the propertis file of this armament transferred to the VPMedia modpack. Required to be fixed. Is it posible?

the properties file is just used to display a proper name in game if the class files and 3do for this weapon are not installed (through an appropriate mod) in VP Pack it will never show and you will find an error in the log when a plane ask for its use

Yes, that's exactly what happens. That's why the question is asked: is it possible to make the armament for IL-2 from 4.13 appear in the WPMpack as it is already done in B.A.T.?

I prepared a quick and dirty folder with the class files (hashed and plain) and the 3do of the RABB3 that you can find attached to this post.

I didn't test but it will be no harm to drop it in your #SAS folder in VPM pack hoping that will work

Thanks a lot, Frankiek, i'll try it right now.  ]cheers[
And its work, but not for all Il-2 models from 4.13 imported to 4.12.2 where it should appear. Some armament from 4.13 for Il2 series 3 & M3 required too for 4.12.2.
Maybe it still required more classes. Anyway, thanx again, Frankiek. ]salut[

In 4.13 there are also RABB1 and RABB2 but I don't have the meshes maybe Vasya that made a weapons mod and uses 4.13 will have all the missing files

Sorry, I don't want to derail the thread, but just to remind that not all armament included in the stock versions (4.13, etc) can be considered "historical".
There were many discussions about that in the community in the past 20+ years.
In particular, I doubt that 6xFAB-100, 2xFAB-250 and 2xRRAB-3 are historical for Il-2 unless for some idealised "overloaded" test aircraft. RRAB-3 looks especially strange, both due to its dimensions and application (not the low altitude weapon).

Yes, i agreed with you, some documents say that there were BRAB-220s in Il's nomenclature, I haven't found anything about the RRAB-3 yet.

Years ago, when I was active in the (amateurish) historical research of VVS, I considered Oleg Rastrenin as the No.1 expert in everything related to Il-2 and Ilyushin in general. Probably, the controversies regarding the "paper" and actual loadouts were covered in his works? My library is far away, I can't check now.

Regarding BRAB-220. There was evidence, as with FAB-250, of its usage in pairs in the "overloaded" variant during the tests. On the early Il-2 (1940-1941) definitely. But, as with 2 x FAB-250, I doubt that it was used operationally. Maybe I'm wrong.

Yeap, maybe Rastenin is the only narrow specialist on the IL-2 airplane to date.
