Hello

I played this great MOD with my heavy modded UP2.01 without problems.

But now (I don`t know why)  I can`t see the sidewinders (visually on the airplane) in the arming any more (only empty pylons) and when I will play the plane with these weapons sometimes I have CTD   or I get the Message:

INTERNAL ERROR: Material: Can`t load 'Gloss2D2o.mat'


If I use the plane with a loadout without the Sidewinders all works flawless !

Does anybody know what the problem could be ???

You are missing a file called "Gloss2D2o.mat" in the folder which the 3d of the missile is located. So you could just say copy some Gloss1D0o.mat or something like that from another plane, rename it and put it in that folder inside your F86J mod folder... it should theoretically work. The only thing it can do wrong is make it use the wrong texture, or a texture that isn't there.

When I use the sidewinders I get, flashing white squares on the plane and the missiles are white and have no texture. The system, as a whole, works fine and is a blast to fly but just have this visual problem. any ideas? Thanx

I tryed it. Now I can see the missiles but if I try to fly the plane with the missiles:  CTD

  :( :'(

Has anybody an other idea how I can get back this faulous mod  ?



SOLVED:   unfortunately it seems to have a conflict with the great gear damage mod !  I remouved it  :'( and now the Sidewinders works flawless  :) again

(Sorry if I copied too much but I wasn't sure where the mission loading ended)

Has anybody else had this problem? The F-86F-30 worked fine. I confess I haven't tested the other F-86s I have installed to see if any were affected.
I have an offline SAS Modactivator setup with the latest buttons.

That's a known issue, caused by modified M3 guns on the UP2.01 extracted Hellcats and Mustangs, which lack the shell dispenser.
