Hi all
Here's a little rework I did of the Pacific Islands map, initially just for myself, but the response has been favourable, so you guys can try it out and tell me what you think.
I've wanted to do something different with this map for some time, and it was only when Bombsaway released his cool new shallows textures that I decided to do it.
Its my first general release map, so feedback is much appreciated.

This map is fictional. Any resemblance to the real thing would be a complete fluke. :D
There are 2 downloads you need to do for the map to display as intended.
The first is the main download, the second is a little texture update.
For the update, just overwrite any files that ask.
add this line to all.ini:
Coral_Islands  Coral_Islands/load.ini

I've included all textures that are not default, for ease of compatibility.
Some are reworks of Bombsaway, viking4570 and agracier's textures, so credits to them for their original tex's.  8)

Very nice map re-texture!

Now we are talking about sharks, I can remember seeing screens of them in original PF, or am I going crazy(er)?

Thanks guys  :D, glad you like it!
I've completed the update, which adresses some texture issues, especially reducing the tile effect on the shallows. ;D
Unfortunately, I've also just suffered a terminal HD crash, which is going to delay me for a few days. I'll post it as soon as I'm back up and running again... :'(

Cool, and I know exactly what you mean about the "don't know when to stop" bit. I'm the same damn way. :D :D

Hey if you're on a spending spree I could use some new stuff for my computer too... ;D

Very cool map Malone, the ocean and coral textures remind me of
Jimko's Pacific Blues and the Pactex series from CFS2. Thanks! 8)

Just a little question about this very nice map:
Since the update 2, I have these objects missing in my static.ini:

buildings.House$Water_Tower_001
buildings.House$storage_006
buildings.House$Rus_Barn_001
buildings.House$rus_barn_003
buildings.House$storage_004
buildings.House$storage_002
buildings.House$storage_003
buildings.House$Rus_House_002
buildings.House$FurniturePalmAg3

but, curiously, the map works and saves fine in FMB.
It's only curiosity but if someone has an idea... :-[
