Marine Chopper
« on: August 17, 2010, 08:47:39 PM »

This is a Marine Green skin for Flakiten's excellent Sikorsky HRS-3 MOD. The Marines flew these choppers in Navy Blue as well as green. I got the markings from a black and white photo and I'm not sure if it was on blue or green. I plan on making a blue one as well.
Enjoy,

Outstanding work on this Marine chopper. It will be an honor to fly it with your skin. I got a chance to see one of these on the hangar deck of the USS Hornet CV-12. Were you in the Core? Thank you for a great job.

Thanks for the kind words. Your post sent me to the USS Hornet where I found that my colore scheme was off which led me to research further and led to a revised skin which is somewhat more authentic. So, Thank YOU!
