This has been my pastime - fly on the remarkable plane that made by Flakiten and chasing bad guys in the jungle, islands and mountains on the maps that make our great cartographers!

I'm ashamed to give you an unfinished plane, but the game is so good that I could not resist. ))) Work on the improvements going but slowly.

Service lines inside the archive.
The role of the Bird Dog - L5 (with new properties).

From the logical realistic point of view you would lose the ammo box Or the entire wing with only a few G's, or light turbulence.
I would find a way to secure the Ammo box, O create Gun Pods...

Still, I don't velive the wings would tolerate the stress of those weapons attached like you did, but Hey it a free world right?

But If I needed to carry weapons, I would use a Texan.. Beowolf did wonders with those babies ;)
DOubel teh speed, and onlly a few ore meters needed for take off...

This agricultural aircraft, which make for the army in 2012 .. -100 Pieces

This aircraft (L-5 Gun) behaves more realistically than many aircraft in the game.

Does it make sense to burden the design for the flight at a speed of 150 km/h ?

I do not put guns 20mm, I did not give a high rate of machine gun fire, I did not give 600 rounds of ammunition.
Weight of gun - 38 kg, the weight of ammunition - 16 kg.
Total 54kg (We assume - 50 kg, we have removed a handle and a sighting things;)) on each wing, I have placed a machine gun next to the supporting beams ...
Game Il2 can break off the wings if you set an unfair weapon

ps A grenade bomb "bad guys" in any self-respecting film about Africa

I like the guns, during the Vietnam war it was not uncommon for L-19 pilots to strap M-60's to their planes, and they would carry grenades for smoke marking. The RTAF even experimented with gunships made from light observation planes with miniguns or 20mm cannon sticking out the side...

There was even an incident where an O-1 pilot attacked enemy troops with a hand-held M-16 fired out the window...

Yes. He did that in a desperate attempt to protect friendly troops on the ground while Jolly Greens were delayed. Before that, he had used his Willie Pete smoke rockets to keep the bad guys from approaching. He was ultimately shot down and crashed in the jungle, and died in the helicopter on his way to safety. Capt. Hilliard Wilbanks got the Medal of Honor, see here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hilliard_A._Wilbanks

Sounds good ...
I use this aircraft as a platform for studying Il2,
FM, weapons, EM .. Perhaps it was a mistake to show my friends experimenting ... By all canons of the genre Il2 this plane has no right to be in the game, but like many others ... ;))

I wonder how many Nieuport were durable?

The warhead alone on a HVAR rocket weighs 46lbs and four of them add up to a total weight of 184lbs or 92lbs per wing.  So I think you are in the clear with your wing mounted .50's.                                                                                                                                     XB-49

Except for recoil. Recoil from rockets tends to be quite a bit less. Rockets have been fired from ultralights (by both the French and Palestinians).

I'm not saying no .50s, I'm just saying that the problem might not be 100% solved. A bit of reinforcement or a lowering of the cyclic rate should do the trick anyway (and the 50s are probably fine as they currently are). My only temptation would be to move the ammunition boxes inside the fuselauge.
