Frame hit with Freddy's Sabre pit (lighting issue?)
« on: August 30, 2010, 10:50:08 PM »

Hi,

When installed Freddy's pit really looks the part. But,... There is a problem somewhere. No, it's not the texture sizes as I've reduced the sizes to well below what they need to be and I still get the hit.

Everything is fine until the Navlights, landing lights or when the guns are fired, then the frame rate is halved.

This problem occurs with his P-47 pits as well.

I'm hoping some cockpit scholar could shed some light (pun intended) on this problem so hopefully it can be rectified.

As I said above, this is not a problem with the texture sizes, it must be somewhere in the *.mat files or a problem with the meshes themselves.

All help truly appreciated,

Cheers, Neil :)
