Version 2.11 sea-bases for landing seaplanes around the Solomons islands plus an altitude patch for Munda point.

As I downloaded most of his maps from map-links part1 and part2, I asked myself
which one would be most interresting to fly around; so I did select the Terrible Solomons,
only to find the two historical airfields for 1943, and no chance to move around much, right
away. So I decided to make myself a few sea-strips for seaplanes all around at local villages.
This little one day project evolved in a six weeks effort that lead to the Kia experiment. All done.

Cannot post in MapWorks. So I will stop here. 8)  ( here = WIP section; resolved).

This PORT is part of the two "Kia sea-base" test missions provided. This has not been put within the actual actors.

Kia is also the site of a land-based tiny landing strip experiment featured within the actors v2.21 redux and actors v2.30 full version.
This unorthodox experiment with AI was completed successfully, but has yet to be published in it's final form. :-\

It is really hard I guess to only pick one of Agracier's fine maps for interesting flying  :D

Thanks again for the effort

If your interested in doing lots of airfields Agracier's Aus/PNG map would be great to try out. There's alot of info on www.pacificwrecks.com and a book is available on W.W.2 airfields of Queensland. Just a thought.

High, everyone!

Now a patch to adjust the Munda-point airfield "land drop problem" has been added to my original mod,
therefore the actors have also been restored to the normal place to land at this location.
Also a random tree appearing at the end of the runway, solved.  This is v2,11.

Previously airplanes landing eastward were going up-hill and had their tail swing into the air when they reached the top.
To prevent this, the previous actors v2,10 made the planes land at the top of the land rise at Munda-Point.
Now the runway has been made perfectly leveled and flat with this altitude patch, and the planes returned to landing in their
original places with the new actors. Actors remain the same for the sea-landings.

Download this new version, a patch and upgraded actors to Agracier's New Georgia map: link and download have been edited above.

Link is now running OK.

View of Munda Point on map New Georgia by Agracier. This end, nearest, was lift up to level 12.0 as the rest.
