For those interested in this bird, here are some experimental versions of D-30 and D-40 models.
I have made them for my own enjoyment, but as the project grew larger and larger, I thought it might be sensible to share the results with others.

It is all in a self contained package including planes, cockpits, FM, sound and effects:

The idea was to make a realistic rendition of the aircraft and cockpit with extended functionality. without modifying any general Java classes. Details are described in the included text files.
This project is meant for off-line use.

This mod is made possible by and based on original 3d models and textures by Freddy from Histomod
For the actual credits please check Credits.txt file.

I keep on working on it, so there will be updates and corrections. Most of the reported issues have been fixed.

Please make it work for UP3.0/DBW. I tested it with 4.09m, and indeed the cockpit is fantastic.

Just a question why the bomb rack (rack_D0) do not appear when selecting a bomb central or a central tank?
