I have never heard that term "prop in the windscreen" syndrome. care to enlighten?

Edit:  New link is up and this should be the one that really works.

memo to self, do not try to work on modding plane while feeling ill :P

Walter, from what I can see here, your ship mod is causing you problems as I can see on this. I cant see anything for those spitfires listed in here. can you give me the bottom part of the list please.

Hi mate!

About the ship it's the 4 void ships of SP that the game read as missing but they simply don't exist at the moment as the Caio Duilio which is in development by Ashes....the other missing particles was because I forgot to update the P-47 D30-40 smokes after last mod update....now this is solved....

The log isn't incomplete , simply the game load , but when I try to fly it CTD and the log is interrupted at the bottom of the FM loading section but not at the last loading FM as how should be by air.ini order....

It's a very strange issue and it's the same as I got with the 410 to 409 mod by epervier and the Liberator GR Mk.V too....

With the "prop in the windscreen" syndrome I'm referring to a problem that has been mentioned a few pages back whereby you see the spinner rotating smack in the middle of your front view from inside the cockpit.

hmmm. I'm not sure as to why you get that. it's using the stock cockpits. maybe there is something with a POV mod? If you have that, try removing it and see is that is what's causing this. If it is, then I'll see what I can do on that.

If not, hell, I'm not really sure. Like I said, these are stock cockpits being used on these planes.

Hi mate!

Aren't them adapted for 4.101?

I think that something is in conflict between some of the mod I have installed and the code needed for 4.101 , even because I haven't any POV mod....

The only working fine is the R-5 , maybe it's code is different....

Walter. These are strait out stock code so they really should work in both. All that has changd is the plane's name and the parts used are all stock. Another thought I had was to go to your quicks folder and delete the LastMission.quick file. I'm sure that has the old information stored in it somewhere. That might help you on your part.

Hallo Riken and others, after adding to your misery I return to tell you that the version I've got works O.K. in 4.09 and 4.101, both version are on buttons 8.3 offline. And 4.101 is on mod act 2.72. Thanks again Riken for all your effort and sevice.

PS Perhaps agood idea to combine this with a 4.10 version of the Mk Vc FB version?? Could we use it with full bombloads as well  ;D
PS 2 Buhli at A&A is making some skins for this bird, and over at Flght Sim Files are some great skins by jocko417 for Mk VIII's which fit perfectly.  :)

Could be a possibility. There are some Spit Mk.Vcs with bomb loadouts somewhere out there already, but they have the filters on them.

Ok. I'm not sure who the origional maker of this variant of spitfire was, but All I did was make a new slot based off those planes. You can find the 2 FB (Fighter Bomber) version on the first post now.

Is there some way to adjust the mirror in these planes?  I am looking at a face (which I don't think is mine), and I would like to raise it so that it shows the tailplane and potential threats instead.

Is there a control for that?

Thanks.

"The problem is the Spitfire Vc-4 CW which has the "prop in the windscreen" syndrome. The other three don't have it. I've got 4.101 with SAS modact."

This is the issue I am having also, and with the FB versions as well.

Any thoughts on how to correct it?

Hi Riken,it's like I have my own modder available; just ask and Riken delivers, thanks man. Only  - I'm sorry to say - the Fb version has a serious problem already mentioned earlier:
