It acts like it missing something when it loads up. But it will load up. But went it gets to the main menu. But you can't move the cursor.

Oooh, you mean "respond".
This is a common occurence, and it happens often to me also. My solution is to Alt+TAB out of the game (minimize it) a couple of times, then the mouse will respond.
I don't know of any other permanent solution.

ahh.....respond makes much more sense
no, erer270, answer me these questions, because you have already complicated this with that pic of the 5% loading screen.
1)  does your game load up to the menu screen?
2)  and, at this point, it doesn't respond?
3)  is there an error message on screen, or just an unresponsive screen(as in, when you move the   mouse, the cursor is 'stuck'?

You can also hit the Windows Desktop key, click on the .exe in Toolbar to go back to the game.

Yes it is a very common occurrence, standard practice at least for me is to Ctrl+Alt+Delete+Enter twice then hit Esc and I'm into the game.

It is very easy! ;)

Step 1: Double-Click on your IL-2 exe
Step 2: Wait until the Main Menu appears
Step 3: Click the left Mouse button ONE time
Step 4: Press the Windows key (looks like a flag)
Step 5: You will now be on you desktop. Now klick IL-2 on the Task bar at the bottom of your screen and the Menu will be there again
Step 6: Click the left Mouse Button ONE more time and your done!
If this is to complicated there's actually a solution to prevent this. (Found this out on AAA!)
After clicking the IL-2 exe or shortcut JUST LEAVE THE MOUSE AND KEYBOARD AND DON'T TOUCH THEM AT ALL WHILE IL-2 IS LOADING. This should do it, I hope.
