I recall the distance limit as being 36km in Clear and Good weather, getting smaller for Hazy and worse (depending on one of the Fog values associated with the weather setting in one of the base classes.)

Thank you very much for your prompt response, WxTech, your information clarifies things for me. All the best.

As the content of the post from sgt.wingspan (and few others) had nothing to do with conf.ini settings these post have been moved to the more correct topic: AMD driver woes

I accidentally set my conf.ini to open with Notepad as default on my WIN10.  Anyone know how to reset it?

like any other file association just go to Windows settings, Apps, default apps and finally choose default app by file type then you can associate conf.ini with whatever app you like. However to open *.ini files with notepad seems a reasonable choice to me  and I would keep it, unless you would like to use a more powerful text editor like notepad++ or similar

Have you tried at Aviaskins? I remember seeing something like that. It is not easy to search their site though

I'm struggling with mouse acceleration in 4.13.4m. There's no way to turn it off in the main menus & it seems to do a sloppy job in the menus of reading my mouse input making navigating menus a chore. Is there any way to deal with this? I have it turned off in windows settings.
