Title: Fake A-26B Invader [Download] Update 4.101 [4.09] [4.10]

I wanted to create a placeholder for Invader-missions and I hope that she will be replaced by a better franken-A26 or much better by a A-26 built from scratch !!! I really hope this will happen soon ;)

This plane is way from being perfect. In fact it is a A-20H (Aviator Mod Team) with longer engine gondolas and changed rudder and elevators. The turret is from a B-25. Unfortunately I can`t map the turret.
My main target was to have a A-26B like weapon set.

There is (folder: newclassfm) an alternative FM (in developpement beta !) for this plane. Just copy them to Your A-26 folder (let overwrite)

You need the Diff_FM mod !

If You use SAS-DBW You don`t need Diff_FM ;D

This the A-20 Dusty Nightfighter skin. The P-61 Hack skins look pretty good as well.

They should show up on the left upper wing. The lower wing is reversed too. This only applies to user made skins. On blank skins the markings show up normaly. I only noticed this when I used some Korean
war skins made for the A-20. Thanks for this great plane.

I've noticed that you get more loadouts with the "A-20H" FM than you do with the experimental FM.

Didn't think of trying that, i just went straight for the experimental FM, and i think you only get guns and rockets. As far as i am aware the A-26 could carry up to 4,000lb of bombs so would love to see some historical loadouts for this plane.

Wait a short time for this new fake aircraft whithin the short future HistoMod
Doc gave his permission to use it. I 'd change loadout for Histo in order to cover the entire period of the Korean war (as close as possible the real weapons display of this A/C).
Ask to Doc if he want to use the new class files for the simmers.They are Doc's property now!!

I am still desperately hoping that someone will create a real A-26 !

PS: I checked my filefront account: the Fake A-26 was downloaded more than 680 times. I think there are others who like it too ;) One more reason to create a real one ! ;)

Been a hell of weekend for me. This and the Fury is like Christmas on steroids. The first one was a gas in a half and this will be even better. Thank you Doc. Hell of a hero.

I don't particularily like the way I've had to do the rudder markings due to mapping
issues so there will be skins in the pack without them so you can make a choice as
to which you use. The usual blank and insignia only skins will also be in the pack.

Some of the coded aircraft in the pack actually have two variations, 564 I think actually wears
a red nose in one illustration and 575 has a different code and Black engine nacelles!

Not sure whether to cover those or not. :-\

Just put this 2 lines on your air.ini :

B-26K air.B_26K NOINFO usa01 DESERT

Don't put the B-26B or it will replace the B-26 Marauder
I Know you have tu put B26C and B26K but t's an A-26
