Title: [Video] Test HD "Original";"1080p" and "720p"
Post by: Clo on January 12, 2011, 08:48:29 AM
Hello there !  :)

Just to show you a test made with my new wide screen.
You'll remark that you can choose the best quality of youtube that is the "original" video. It's amazing ! But 700Mo to upload for 30s is too heavy !  :D :P
Don't forget to be in full-screen :

hey, you might want to check this topic for youtube videos: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,10022.0.html

I followed it and created this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-biazbbhpw

It's 50mb per minute (149mb for that video in .wmv format, length 3:01). Also it has the same option as your video of full 1080p HD ;)

Hello Raptor ;)
You can see in my video, that it's more detailed in the cockpit for example ;) But thank you for the link, i'll check it :)

Well, for sure if we are both using the same formats then yours should have more detail, otherwise it wouldn't be a larger file size. However in my video I never really looked down into the cockpit and also it is a different cockpit to the one you are looking at so I don't think we can really compare the two. In full screen and running 1080p I think the video, quality wise is good enough, and the way I've done it saves a lot more memory compared to your video. So all in all I think the extra 550mb per minute of video isn't really worth that little tiny bit more detail if you get what I mean.:)

Agree ! :)

But as i told, it's just a test to see how Youtube show us the famous "original" quality video ;). For sure when i'll make a real video, i'll optimize my configuration to have more memory !
