Except for one. I want a new Challenger so bad! I had me a '73 way back in the day. But of course gas is so darn expensive I would at least have to win second place in that lottery to be able to drive it LOL
Good day!
I wish I had a 360 controller... only got a saitek dual sticked 12 button gamepad on my laptop for IL2.

Hey, I would like to proudly present my machine! The Trabant 601:
(in the background, behind my younger brother Czech-made motorcycle ‘Java’)
So here it is: small, loudly and has a body made from Duroplast, a curious East-German invention, a recycled material made of cotton waste and phenol resins. Sound strange? The only, but huge advantage of the use of Duroplast is that the car body is rust-free.
The car has two cylinder, two stroke, hell smoky, anti-ecological engine producing mostly smoky blue haze and noise, and from time to time 24 hp, that is almost sufficient for pulling the 650kg weight down the street.
What more can I say – I love to drive it through the city and watch people stopping and staring or taking photos while overtaking me, what happens (overtaking) quite often. On the other hand I have to maintain it on my own, do all the repairs but I like it too, makes me responsible for the car and I like to know how stuff works, especially the one I use, so after four years I guess I had every part, one by one, in my hands.
So to illustrate repairs here is the photo I like the most, taken by myself using wide angle lean and by Zenith camera, presenting my grandfather, now 80 years old, helping me previous summer with the work on the suspension. My grandfather knows everything about this cars, has four of them over the last 40 years.
And I couldn’t resist: my four legged friend and me sitting on the backseat four years ago.
...Yep, PSL. In the states SVD's are like hens teeth. I have several thousand rounds of 54R stockpiled because it was so cheap, and wanted a semi auto to go with my troop of Mosin Nagants. Sadly no spoils of war, they will barely let you bring back a bayonet!
Wow... we got an SVD (or maybe a PSL? - is it a "spoil of war"?) we got an AK-47 with what looks like a flash suppressor and one without (type 2s?) and an AKS-74... very nice collection. are they all activated?

The others are AK-74 (Fully converted Saiga 5.45) and Romies, a WASR 10/63 and a Draco pistol.
And yes, they all shoot very well. The wife informed me that the 74 is hers, but I can have the rest of the AK's/16's...lucky me ???
And its not like I'm going to tell her no, she can put 1.5-2 MOA groups out without even trying!

@pdittrich: Nice poster right on the wall. Don't you feel a bit cramped there? :-\
Just of interest: where has that been?
And yes, it can be fast too, but I prefer to cruise.
Usually today's surviving ones have something bigger mounted than 60hp.

Simunition / blue ball hurts like buggery if it hits the right place, some bastard SF bloke shot me in a training ex once, right on the arse. I couldn't play dead like I meant to because I was rolling around in agony. So he shot me again. Then buggered off. Then someone else came past and shot me in my corpse-like state for good measure. It was very one-sided as well, true I'd been given a weapon, but they never gave me any ammunition.HAHAHA
The moral of the story is, Blue Ball ammunition hurts.
that is my cockpit, if ever it can be called one. haha! a keyboard with taped-on keys and a playstation-style USB controller, because i have yet to see joysticks that are affordable...

Yet another lurker steps out of the shadows:
Me in front of the IL-2 displayed in the "Aeronautical museum-Belgrade". The original pic is dark and blurry with dull colors (as I was lazy to properly set up the camera for given ambient light conditions), so I converted it to gray-scale.
My Cockpit is nothing to be proud of, and undoubtedly not picture worthy, but if anyone gets struck with sudden and unexplainable urge to read this post further, unnecessarily detailed description follows:
"Thrustmaster Top Gun" joystick (sort of leased from a friend that got me into "IL-2" sim, as he moved on to the "Speed Link Black Widow" because it has throttle lever with "rudder twist" and also because the micro-switches on his old Top Gun are long overdue for replacement). No rudder control whatsoever (apart from keyboard), so my flying buddies call me "Douglas Bader". Somewhat outdated AMD based desktop running "IL-2 1946" currently in version 4.10.1m with SAS Modact 3.06, and Lowengrin's DCG 3.47, as "we" (me and my "flightstick supplier", sometimes accompanied by his best man) fly exclusively co-op.
As for the "Ride" section, sadly I do not own (or lease) anything flyable. And if "ride" also includes wheeled ground transportation, I assume no one on Earth (or this forum at least) would be interested in pictures of one European mini hatchback. I do store couple old-timer VWs (that probably will never get to the planned restoration in my lifetime), but they also are surely out of the interest scope in this context.
That would be all from me for now. Have a good flight and safe landing!
Mah cokpit, still no joystick :'(
This one is a fresh webcam shot of my humble self. Hope you'll not get scared...

Hello !
A old photo of me in Frankfurt Airport more past time (30 years late, 1985 sure)
One ME-262 rear me.
Funny, I was thinking to start a similar post myself....ah well, CirX beat me to it.
Anyway, here is several pictures of my custom built pit:

I finished building this over the summer months and just picked up a 26-inch monitor to enhance the "immersion" effect. The frame is custom built from ABS pipe and PVC fittings. Flight stick is a heavily modified Saitek Aviator. I also have Saitek rudder pedals and a CH Pro Throttle. Sound system is a Creative Labs 5.1 surround sound setup. All the components (stick, throttle, pedals, switch panel, keyboard, and mouse) connect to a 7-port USB hub that is mounted under the monitor stand. This keeps everthing nice and neat and results in just a single USB connection to the PC.
Is that a cyclic I see there next to your stick?
I was determined to fly choppers in DCS

Welcome mate
Glad you could share a bit about yourself and family.
Hope you don't run into too many dramas setting up your game, which by the sounds of it your going down the modded install path.
Remember that most problems are not new and have been discussed previously so it is best to do a search first.
I also recommend you check out Mission4Today there's a huge catalogue of aircraft skins, campaigns and missions available.
