You must have the new JetWar 1956 Pack to use these planes.

yes I do and all those aircraft work fine, i disabled the skyraiders ini and it works so im guessing that the problem is there just not sure how to continue

ya i just put il2 on my new laptop and updated to 4.10 and the patch for 4.101 and got mod act and the jet era mod, the p-51a mod works fine, but the skyraiders ctd

First: why don't you take a look at the Conf.ini to see what is going on with your game?
Second: it clearly seems to be a problem FM (buttons) related. There are many different versions of the DiffFM, you need the one for v4.101m. I even would suggest to use it in the MODS folder with a 00_ before to be positive that this one is the one used, because many mods incorporate their own version of the FlightModelMain class, and if they load before than DifFM will block the FM loader.

Guys please help! I installed these beauties accordingly instructions and when I launch mission in QMB it loads while "30% Loading Aircrafts" and error occurs and then CTD. The same problems with all others planes from 1956 Jet War Addon thogh they all look ok in weaponry screen. I use HSFX5.0.1 and The-SAS-Coolest-Ever-Modact... What I do wrong?

WOW! I got them running for HFSX5.01!
Only one weird thing: the A-1J guns dont seem to work while the other 2 do work! Has that something to do with the fact that, this mod is actually ment for 1956 Jet War?

Bump.

I am getting some strange behaviour with the markings on these aircraft, specifically regarding to their reflectivity. They appear the correct colour from certain angle, but when the view rotates, they acquire a metallic sheen that makes them look silvery white. The effect is sort of hard to show in screenshots, but I'd like to hear if anyone else has this issue, or knows how to fix it.

Which pylon fix?

AFAIK it's included from 2.5 onwards!

Maybe you see a lower performance because was implemented the new FM that tone down the plane behaviour at more realistic settings?

oops i meant in UP3. i get my big packs mixed up sometimes. i am having problems with the SUU. when i fire it the bullets come out of the droptank.

Testing by testing I spot a little bug: in the AD4 the last loadout (max load , wrote after night ops load in included readm weapon_ru add to section) is missing...

Tested an 4122+5.30+2.7 and got all planes working , only little bug with A1-J in which the default have the gun don't firing but when some loadout is selected the guns fire normally....

I have these in HSFX 7.0.1/4.12.2 and they load and fly just fine, but on the two later models I'm missing the Mk-81, 82, $ 83 bombs, is there a file I'm missing somewhere?, or a version that was supposed to run with HSFX?  Seeing as how I can't use the Engine Mod in HSFX to get Jet War installed I guess getting the late ordnance will be a long shot.................

Looked for a stationary mod for these too..............

Any help is appreciated.

Hoss, Engine Mod 2.7 and the Jet War 1.33 does work in HSFX 7.01.

With a mod enabler of some kind? Or aMods folder?.......  We don't use anything except jsgme straight to Files folder....... So that would be problematic for us.

But no one knows of static mod for just the Skyraider? Don't want to install that big one with dozens of planes just for the AD4.

Should appear a missing hook....but since the early version never carried this weapon maybe is an error in the classifle managing the weapon list where the later model nuclear weapon entry is left for error....

....so don't waste your time because solving the issue 'll in both cases delete the weapon loadout!

Is there a fix for the lighter color blue on the wings of the AD-4? I thought I had read something a couple of years back that was a workaround for that. Would appreciate any help for this. Thanks in advance.

When I install these following the read me instructions I CTD at 60% every time. If I understand this mod correctly, I don't need Jetwars or any SaS mod or FM for this to work? So I guess what I'm asking is what did you do to install into HSFX 7.2 step by step.  Thanks TC

A-1J is giving me troubles. It works fine until I try load up munitions. I get an error (loading mission null). The other 2 work fine loaded or unloaded. Any ideas?

Hello,

I'm on 4.12 + SAS Modact 5.3 + Jetwarr 1.33

My skyraiders won't take off from any carriers, even the stock game carriers.
The first (leader) skyraider goes onto the catapult, spread his wings, but doesn't set the chocks off...I could wait for hours.

I have installed Skyraiders 2.6 by CY6: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,14170.0.html

I went to check on "catapult.ini" in SAS Engine Mod 2.7, everything seems to look good. I don't really know what's going on.
I have renamed Skyraider folder to make it load before SAS Engine mod to see if it would make any difference, of course nothing changed :(

Did anybody had a similar problem?

Hello again,

I wanted to let you guys know that for some of you who had problems regarding drop tanks not showing

What makes it show up is that you have to rename Skyraider folder and make it load BEFORE "000_1956_Core_v13"
The drop tanks showed up for me after I' had done this :)

I didn't figure out the nuke problem on the AD-4 yet.
