Title: How to get fighter-bombers to dive-bomb ?

just started a dynamic campaign in the Pacific in a P-39. Level bombing tanks and trucks from 13000 ft. isn't going so well.

I've tried leading the flight, tail-end charlie, starting at all altitudes from 500 ft. to 14000. AI always just lobs 'em in from altitude ?!?  I just gave up on a Hurricane campaign in the desert for the same reason, so I don't think it's unique to the P-39.

Can it be done? Can fighters and fighter-bombers dive-bomb . . . or bomb from lower altitudes with accuracy?
