Hello Ranwers!
It is still a beautiful bird you have us do it.
For cons, I met some "bug's" on the plane.
The starboard navigation light (green) does not light.
In the cockpit, the train indicator and shutters "12-Lampengeräte" does not work correctly. The indication "Sturzflugbr." should not be on the small plate on the right. This indication is reserved for bombers in era, or as the Stuka Ju-88, for example. Both plates must be marked "Landeklappen".
Regarding the "errors" of lamps signalisatrices, I prepared some screens, but I do not know how to send them, if you can give me your personal email address, I will send these documents.
Friendships and thank you.

They did make pretty planes as well not that I find the 204 ugly, just better suited to its assigned tasks.
I like flying the 204 for sight seeing, nice little plane..

Excellent work, Loku and Ranwers !
Just I could be happy if anybody repair czechoslovak markings on the rudder: the blue segment should be positioned forward, regardless it is on the left or right side, as in this picture:
(I know, I know, it is  error of Il2 versions common to all planes.)

It is not possible. I think about that, but then german swastika will be mirrored.
I made corrected insignia on wings.
BTW - in Czech country fly with czech skin - overall green ;) (added !)

Thanks guys for good respond - this is very unknown plane.

Hi Master Ranwers!

I have managed to install this beauty last night before went to sleep and briefly tested over sandsoftime map....412+5.2

All is went flawless , apart a little overheating with the 8 passengers when climbing at high power settings but that don't give any engine trouble anyway when reached the 1000 meters of the planned flight path....only a little issue is that the altimeter read feet and not meters....

Thanks for this new and great beauty....I promise to escort VIP's fearless if in my missions someone 'll use it as hack!

All the very best!

It lacks the two yellow lights "Start" ( 6th and 10th lamps in the second row )

the version equipped with radar was used for training nightfighters crews

Post by: SAS~Loku on November 02, 2013, 11:49:51 PM
The problem is 3xCargoA loadout is to heavy for Siebel:

Siebel FM data:

[Mass]
  Empty 3900.0
  TakeOff 5600.0
  Oil 30.0
  Fuel 820.0

  + crew 3 +100% fuell = ~5000kg

  + 3xCargoA  each cargo weights 500kg, from BombCargoA.class:("massa", 500F) = 1500kg of cargo

= 6500kg it pretty above 5600 of max takeoff weight

not to mention it has 2x550HP engines

for me only solution is to create for example new less heavy BombCargoB class with 200kg mass so it wont exceed max take of weight

Hello, Ranwers!
Bravo for corrections, in particular cocnerne indicator train components "12-Lampen". It's pretty original to have disconnected the light on the tail wheel.
However, the mod has been installed on a DBW Version 1.71 with the Tiger (UV3) mod and I encounter the following problem:
After starting the engine (or both), there is no sound when the gas is between 0% and 4%. The sound comes from 5%.
-Are there any solution to this problem?
Thank you again for this wonderful product!

Daniel, tu utilises un Mod avec le FM prévu pour le buttons SAS !
Or toi tu utilises l'UV3 !
Je pense que c'est pas ici que tu auras de l'aide car l'UV3 n'est pas et n'a jamais été la préoccupation majeure des moddeurs ! ;)

Argus engines family sound preset bmw6 caused this, Siebel204 (Argus 411) together with Fi156 and Fw189 using this preset also has no engine sound at low rpm (idle).Sound appear above 5% of power.

Evertyhing works fine, except one thing - I can't see any loadouts inside the plane (pax or cargo).
Thank You Master Ranwers & Co.

Ps. Regarding sound patch- should I put the "sound" folder inside "Si204" one?

OH yes. Many Thanks for creating this plane !

Now we have the "Weihe" in the game too.   I already  read  often about this plane in Biographies of german fighter pilots. In northeast europe they were often used to search downed pilots.

THX a lot

Hello everyone.
I don't know if someone else has my problem:
Compass is wrong, for example: West direction is indicated by North.
Is it possible to fix this little bug?
Thanks in advance.

+1   ...a 90' offset, north is west. Using 412.2 SAS v5.3.  :(

Maybe a cockpit Java code bug.

It seems not so hard to fix to cockpit maestroes.

Thank you guys for taking a look...(also Hubberranz)
I'm using 4.12.2 SAS 5.3 too.
Hope some of the many genius in this forum can solved it.
I know it's a particular, but why don't try...

...mhh, I looked better and I think compass doesn't work at all.
Only path direction indicator seems ok and this thing put me off the road.

Hallo Western, I tested it in QMB and my difficult options are quite easy/normal (custom) and realistic navigation's button is setted off. With my difficult options I tested other german twins such as He-111 or Ju-88 and their compass works well.

just tested the Siebel in DBW and 4.12 MA.

In both cases the compass is wrong for 90°.
Must be some bug in the code.

This error is very common!  8)
4 of 5 planes have this error that I have to correct when I make conversions (when I do not forget!)!  ;)

hmm, how do you mrename it so it does not conflict with the default or non-bomber one. i put it in and the standard one appeared only. as for specs first one is a nightfighter profile with equipped with FUG-218 V2R and FLIG 2.17-R radar. http://captured-wings.wikia.com/wiki/Werk_Nr_322127;maritime would be depth charges ; a single torpedo; maybe gunpod underneath

Werk Nr 322127 in British markings[1]

Werk Nr 322127 was a Siebel Si.204D
History

Assigned to an unknown unit as BU+PP,[2] and equipped with FUG-218 V2R and FLIG 2.17-R, this aircraft was designed to train Ju-88 and He-219 night fighter radar operators. After the war it was studied by the RAF, in the original German camouflage - dark green and black and green - complemented with gray on the lower surface. The German markings were partially painted over by the British, the last two letters of the original matriculation BU PP being replaced by Air Min 4.[1]

hi, zip. can you tell me how to rename the folder name. it conflicts with the default release. In other words we now have 3 variants so i want to keep them separate by renaming. is it just air.ini and folder name being changed? thx.

Zip, THX! Tested your third version with UP3RC4, heavy modded, absolute succes! ;D
Umm...as i know the Si-204E also have fixed, front machine guns, two 13mm, MG131...
http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10135724z3/70/3
See the gun barrels end under the cockpit. 500 round per gun. Sorry, but no found info about the type of gunsight,(A kind of REVI posssible) and correct position...Also cross section drawings about fixed guns...
http://www.karaya.pl/en/rvresin/39/si-204-1-72-1-48-manual-detail-scale-aircraft-drawings-rv1002.html?ref=%2Fen%2Frvresin%2F39%2F3%2F1%2Fitems.html
Two small bomb bay, with 5 bombs each(SC50 or SC70K) or two SC250...
So, a mix of version 1 and 3 are nearly historical. :P
Czech sources say, that some C-3B also possible to fit another flexible machine gun, an Mg-131 at starboard side, with 500rpg. No photo evidence, nor exact position...side door config, like helicopters???

I have reposted Si204 WIP Field Mod ver4.....and ver3

I narrowed the alignment of the top bubble turret for a more accurate gunner.
and for the alternate bottom gunner.....

If you downloaded ver4 in the past 24 hours (from 2/19/2015  6:00pm GMT  to 2/20/2015 6:00PM GMT ....you may want to try the update.....

If you download ver3 prior to 2/20/2015 6:00 GMT ......it too has had the bubble turret slightly improved.

You might find you hit the least favorite attacking aircraft....at slightly farther distance ...and somewhat more frequently.

Any skin pack for this bird? Also is there a way to get all 4 field versions as a separate standalone? the air.ini is the same for all.
