Title: Extracted Full #UP# Folder
Post by: BravoFxTrt on December 05, 2013, 01:56:30 PM
This #UP# Folder works on for SAS UP3 Test Server. I put the Ecran Widescreen Mod in it.

This has the contents of UP's in game GUI "Splash Screen", all .ini's, and i18n Folder. Easier to Modify for adding Planes and other Mods to UP3.01RC4.

Thanks a lot for that Bravo!

just a technical question: all the birds that are in UP should be theoretically available in a DBW/newTFM install as well?
I am asking because the air.ini in the UP folder includes some birds from the TK 1.20 patch, and it would be the additional N1Ks and the Raidens that I am interested in...

Hi Griff,I am only guessing here, butIi think the two air.ini's contain the same Plane Entries. Sorry but its been a long Time since Iv played UP, Im waiting on UP 4.0 just like every body else. I hope at least I answered your question correctly. ~S~

Hello Bravo!

just gave it a try adding the N1K3-A and K4;
strangely, I only had to add them in the air.ini, the plane.ru and the weapons.ru entries where there already;
but after adding to air.ini, the game crashes at 70% during loadup, so it seems like the those birds are not contained in updated buttons any longer;
well, at least it was worth a try :)

Try adding Buttons 10.0 or  10.3  https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,97.msg362.html#msg362

I use the 10.3s already; but as said its not that big a deal; the -3 N1K works great and is a killer already, but nothing compared to a well flown Reppu;
so it was a try to add the TK birds rather cheaply, but one that failed ... :)

Bravo I've got a problem with that #UP# folder.
First off, it only works on UP3 from inside DBW installation. That seems to be intentionally as the .rc script loads many DBW SFS archives, so that ain't no issue in itself.
However as soon as I use your #UP# folder, some weapons are missing.
For instance the F-86K and FJ-3 Fury have "default" loadout only when I use this folder.

Best regards - Mike

Yes Mike Ive deleted the .rc file and re uploaded it with out that .rc file, that .rc file was for DBW1.71/UP3RC4

Sorry for any inconveniences it may have caused.

My new link doesnt contain the .rc File.
