Hello Kant, I have finally got around to making a test flight in the Polikarpov_MR-1 and unfortunately I have to report a problem with this in my DBW 1916. :'(

When I go to make a take off on water I get a engine inoperable message:

UPDATE, increased height of the float now screw does not touch the water and hung right aileron axis vrasheniya improved. See the first post link there

Mission Bug, could you explain if theres any secret to getting these working in NON DBW games?

I have installed the latest 1.7 version in a 4.12.2 modact, with all weapon additions, and still they do not show up in the QMB :(

Mission Bug, could you explain if theres any secret to getting these working in NON DBW games?

I have installed the latest 1.7 version in a 4.12.2 modact, with all weapon additions, and still they do not show up in the QMB :(


Hello fresco23, I have an earlier version of this mod running in 4.12 with ModAct 5.3, but as far as I can remember the only problem I had originally was a CTD if I left the Cyrilic script on the folder, with that removed all is well, strange when you consider the origins of the sim and the fact that usually the name of the folder does not make any difference.

My version also contains various FM files, it is possible I used the 4.09 one as quite a lot of mods designed for 4.09 seem to be fine in a 4.12 setup

will you be able to fly them to their best ability.

The reason is because of the way the WW1 engines worked and also because it contains many
files which are specific to the WW1 time period.
Everything else in the IL2-1946 was made for WW2 airplanes, so this "DBW-1916" was created to
be simply for WW1 airplanes and stuff.

I didn't mean to offend, i understand how some planes work and others don't. I have a pretty substantial selection of very nice planes to choose from in my game and i am very happy about people working to expand a game like IL2, so thank you very very much for all your hard work.

I'd be quite interested to know how you have all those working. As Max stated, I've always found that most of the WW1 aircraft will not work in my 4.12 setting. Even those "Standalone" version. Sometimes i wish to fly a "Reproduction" Camel or something from my WW2 fields! If there is something we are missing, then i would be glad to learn of it.

Thanks Gunny, for your list, i have added the ones i didn't have, they all work perfectly well :)

I was thinking, the error i posted a few messages back says it is missing "CockpitDeHev_TGunner" which should be included in DBW1916. Wouldn't it be possible to find the file which contains this and copy it from DBW1916 and put it into #SAS (or something) to make it work?

EDIT: Nvm my problem, i have the DH9 and Polikarpov R-1 flying now, only a small problem of overheating engine, i assume it has something to do with the flightmodel, but with overheating off i can still have some fun with these planes, they look and fly very well so thanks
