Title: Hispano Aviación HA-1112 North Africa desert skin (spotted one preferably)
Post by: cuccos19 on May 29, 2014, 09:27:49 AM
It would be so nice to have some German desert skin for this bird (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=22120.0)... as we already have some Battle of Britain skins. My favorite desert 'Messer' skin is the one on early spotted Emils, like this one: Werner Schroer Bf-109E-7/Trop (http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=345) or this one:  Günter Steinhausen Bf-109E-4/Trop (http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=344).

Thanks for every skinners in advance. :)

Hello Cuccos,

such a Bf-109E-4 / E-7 skin as you wish it to you would be unrealistic.

Such a painting, it has certainly never been on a "Buchon".

But perhaps you'll get lucky ...

Regards, Gerhard

I know, it will be just a kind of "fun paint" like the BoB Emil skins for this aircraft.

the HA 1112 was painted in the blue overall scheme as well as the Silver and blue split tone. It has never been camouflaged in any way, and even though there are countless illustrations of Green HA 1112's out there it is false. It is the result from a bad picture taken at a bad angle of a plane with very weathered blue paint. Keep in mind the Blue was not any real aero paint, and would wear off in the "key" areas (next to exhaust, gear, etc.) and they would reapply the blue paint, making it look like camo was applied, which never was.

The myth started after a French magazine said it was green camouflaged since the new and old paint could be visibly seen in difference. Then, lazy researchers who copied other's mistakes made the myth real...

And the scheme that you ask for would look bad on a HA 1112..

Congratulations nonaiansia looks great, but I'm curious, have you adapted the old skin or is completely new?

No no, i only adapted a fantastic skin by spookie.

Skin by spookie, template by Graf, internals by Revolver & Jesters Ink, all the credit is yours.

Wow, I've just seen it now! Wonderful looking painting on this aircraft! I'm sorry for my late response, but I'm currently using an old ThinkPad with Linux, and I wasn't here for a while. Now I have my other machine and I will fly it right now! ;D

Thank you very much nonaiansia! :)
