Coming back to IL2 after a few years and am amazed at all of the new goodies. OK, I installed a fresh version of IL2 and patched it to 4.13....then copied that to a new directory. I then installed SAS 6.01. Both the original program and SAS will launch. Where I'm running into problems is with the CUP files. I've installed them exactly as described but when I use the selector to kick one off it never launches. At first I tried WAW and that didn't work, so then I thought I'd try something easier like the Golden Age as there are only 4 files. I'm obviously doing something wrong. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! David

Kind of obvious you didn't read the installation instructions. CUP is built in 4.12 with Modact 5.3, not 4.13 with Modact 6.

Actually I did read the instructions, and in the instructions it says "Stock IL2 and SAS are not affected by this install". I guess it doesn't work the other way around though. Alright thanks for the tip.

Its not necessary to install the AI Flyables, they are part of the CUP install.

From the installation instructions for CUP; What is meant by "Stock IL2 is not affected" is that with the selector you can go back to the Stock Game (although I don't know why you would :P)
Hope you get things worked out, CUP is great

This mean that in the 'selector' option you can choose between a CUP installation (DOF WAW TGA TJA) , the stock vanilla game or the SAS mod activated version....but all from a 412.2 base....
