Grigorovich M-5 was a successful Russian World War I-era two-bay unequal-span biplane flying boat with a single step hull, designed by Grigorovich. It was the first mass production flying boat built in Russia(ca.300).
Most of the M-5s served in the Black Sea or in the Baltic, initially with the Imperial Russian naval air arm and later with both sides in the Russian Civil War. Some remained in service until the late 1920s as trainers, reconnaissance and utility aircraf

Grigorovich M-9 was a Russian World War I-era biplane flying boat, developed from the M-5 by Grigorovich.
The first M-9 was ready in 1915 and its maiden flight was carried out on January 9, 1916 at Baku. On September 17, 1916, the test pilot Jan Nagórski became the first to make a loop with a flying boat.
The Russian navy in WWI made great use of flying boats, and the Grigorovich M-9 was its most common plane.  It was able to land reliably on seas, lakes, and even snow.  Over 500 were built starting in early 1916, making it one of the highest-produced Russian planes in the entire war.  While it was a three-seater, it was frequently flown with only a pilot and a gunner.  The M-9 was used both on the Baltic and the Black Sea.

3D model: Gio963tto.

Default skin: Stalker

Slot and changes to cockpit folders and FM: Pete Shaw aka Mission_bug.

Uses decompiled and renamed classes from the 'AIRCRAFT_Lohner_Macchi'.

FM uses the files 'Clerget9B_U3' and 'U-2VSLBB' renamed for this aircraft.

Tested in DBW 1916, DBW 1.71 and TD 4.12 with SAS ModAct 5.30.

With the introduction of the 4.12 version of the game the prevoius entry of 'SailPlane' was changed to 'SeaPlane', the the classes in the folder 'Change to seaplane for 412' should be used to over write the existing ones in the mod so that it will perform a landing on a water airfield in your 4.12 game version.

The cockpis of both aircraft have the second crew member added, however, because of the way the gun works if it moves you will see another figure besides that it is the one from the aircraft itself moving.  If this is annoying just delete the entries from the cockpit folder for those meshes.

If you change skin from the default your cockpits will continue to show the default.

Add the folder'AIRCRAFT_Grigorovich M5-M9' to your mod folder and add the following:
