My favorite is Baron:  although the flaps siren (Bf109) is annoying, cockpit is rather OK.
Very high speed to travel on maps. The L-5-in-common-cockpit series of planes are often conflicting with one another.

Let's hope it will be done some day : this is really the besr aerobatic plane in IL-2. Plane works perfectly if airstart. Can even land and take off again, if my memory is good.

Hello!

If you have BAT installed, you will have a lot of civilian planes from every age, from 30's airliners to modern propeller planes.

In fact, I think BAT is the closest thing to a flyable aircraft encyclopaedia.

Don't know, I dont't use vp's modpack. I suggest trial run: if it works, it works or if it does not, it does not.

Reminder : you could have several installs of il2. You can leave vp modpack alone and have a clean 412 with SAS 5,3 for all-out modding, adding the two files requirement, and much more eventually. Since that starts at zero, better still: another instance of a modded-appllied game; that one you change, leaving the other install unchanged.

BAT is separated in several games internally.
