Hello everyone
I downloaded the Bristol Brigand plane and it works perfectly however there is a color problem (see image).
Thank you for the solution

barver77fly,

You may either need the Hi-res DLLs from perhaps here (to be confirmed): https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,33239.msg357330.html#msg357330. OR

You can re-size the files inside 3do/plane/Brigand(multi1)/summer - currently they're for 2048 x 2048 skins.

Cheers,

Would it be possible to create the Tf-1 version for coastal command in the future. Also, what was the difference between that and the B1.

Second method unfortunately is not so good : default skin looks like the plane is damaged... would be good to have a LoRez variant !

A bit of a waste of a java slot, surely? They only built 11, which were quickly converted as the torpedo aircraft had been built for a role that no longer existed. I don't know what the differences between the variants were, but from photos nothing significant visually, and as the il2 version can carry a torpedo that should be enough, don't you think?

Regarding the high resolution skins, to activate them just replace the DLLs with these two Carsmaster files. Less compromising operation than the integral one.

Here is the Link:     https://www.mediafire.com/file/5fcsuw427ocg2qu/DLL-4096_Redux.7z/file

Gaston,

Apologies - I should have been clearer.  For the second option, in order to properly re-size the default skins 'components' without merging the alpha channel (indicating damages), you may need to use an image editing tool (e.g. GIMP) to:

1) (if using GIMP) Color -> Components -> Decompose each of the .TGA files by RGBA channels into different layers
2) Resize the decomposed layers to 'a size smaller' (e.g. from 2048 x 2048 to 1024 x 1024, 1024 x 1024 to 512 x 512, etc.)
3) And then Compose the layers into a single TGA again, with RGBA channels
4) there is a .TGB file (the 'skin1o.tgb' file) that you will have to rename to .TGA in order to execute the above, and then change the extension back to .TGB

If you're unfamiliar with this process, or don't want to go through this process, then the Carsmaster DLL files stanislao provided (and I linked to the original post here at sas1946) could be an easier option.

Cheers,
