It should be a easier series of plane to realize with a new skill on Blender 3d. I hope i will be able to realize the templates and later the skins.

About tecnical data i relay to previous post but i have to add some more details about the Nankai.

 We know it was built just the prototype. About its armament data i have had some doubts.
 They say :
the canopy was reduced from the Shiragiku one for just the pilot;
it should had a rear mgnun.

These two datas are incompatible.

So , according with CWAtson, we have tougth that the correct mgun position shoudl be on the rigth wingin.( as it is possible to see on a pic ).

The Nankai had not a defence weapon , but we have tougth that it had to operate along homeland coasts , so on safe skies.


About the armament, we have tried to install many typse , but is have been impossible for 2 reasons:
poor engine power;
some armament were imcompatible for java issues.

So, according with the Dreamk precious consulting, we have installled diferent types of bombs.

The K11W was a trainer and transport, so we have installed only 30 and 60 kg bombs and the rear mgun.

For the K11W2 and Q3W2, i have taken the "questionable" decision to instal the Leighligth antisub device . I like a lot this device and i hope the same will be for You.

About behavoiur on flyng, these were slow planes and to take off with loadout need to gain more then 120 kmh speed.

On Ai , i am having some issues and i have no idea how solve.

About the skin, i have realized a temporary one using the void attached inside folds. I hope some good fellow want to create good skins.

That is all. I would like to receive news about issues or some not pleasant mesh or other.

Hello Dandolo, first of all I would like to Thank the whole Team for the not easy work you have done here 8) ]thumleft[,
unfortunately I have a bit of a problem with Q3W1 and K11W because the game starts but the aircraft(s) are not selectable in both QMB and FMB,
in QMB it is possible to see the armament types, but when you press the aircraft select button, the selection window is empty.

I placed the aircrafts folder almost on top of the #SAS folder but this did not help either,

thanks for appreciation, and sorry for the issues.

These plane have been realized on BAT 4.2.1 Flashpoint, but  CWatson has worked on 4.12 or 4.09,  i am not remembering exactly what just now.

I could think my mods are not good for your IL2. Have You any other mods of mine? Do these mods work on your IL2?

In the past my mods had some meshs very heay, but these have been built on a different 3d method and the meshs are quite ligth.


I am not expert  on LOG interpretation, but on the one i am reading i don't see any string reporting the 3 mods.

On my IL2 i can realize missions on QMB and FMB, so i don't know what my mods are working on your one.

Let me know some other information.

for K11W1  plane-K11W(multi1)
for K11"W2 plane-K11W2(multi1)
for Q3W1 plane-Q3W1(multi1)

I moved the files to the indicated folders but it doesn't work,
for this time I give up :P , I will check maybe there is something wrong with my game Vp modpack2022,

it would make things much easier if any user could confirm that they have or have not had a similar problem in their installation,

Works fine in my bat 4.2.2 with hotfix 4. Does anyone know how to activate or which button is mapped for the leigh light for night ops?

Hallo Piotrek1, i am happy for You.
I have to learn how to create canopies with very ligth meshs.

In the future i hope to realize mods very ligth to make them playble on SAS 412 or without Carsmaster DLL.

For these mods the work is not closed, i woild like to have some skins to make better these planes.

The leigh light is wonderful... Haven't tried it and night over the sea to detect a american sub but very promissing...

It seems to only happen with the K11W1&2 (not the Q3) when you land roughly and loose your tail's wheel...
Hope it helps...

BTW I also notice it's hard to slow speed with the K11W when landing without using the propeller's pitch... The speed doesn't slow down if you just turn down the engine power ...

Le Forban You are rigth, it miss hook 5 on Engine1_D0
So without it all others hooks do not work.

So the planes sink.

I am sending the Engine1_D0 for the two Shiragiku.

Hallo Gents,
i have an issue using autopilot with Q3W1.
 The FM is the same of Shiragiku but, when i use autopilot the Shiragiku gains a take off speed of 118-120 kmh; the nankai gains only 108 kmh and it is not enough to take off.

What could be the issue?

My Q3W1_25th_Jan's autopilot took off at 120km/h empty+ 100% fuel; then at 112km/h with two 60kg bombs added;
..at 114km/h with two 100kg bombs added.
Ai next flight did well also, empty. Ai with 2x60kg bombs took off, but did not gain altitude; moments later went downward, wheel-bounced then crash-bounced-exploded onto a very low   hillside   little land-rise.
Airfield at Hengyang,  local altitude indicates 93m. U tried some other airfield?

I have tried to take off on various airports but the results are the same. It not takes off on full payload  . On manual i can gain 110% engine power and Its speed is enough to fly.
So I don't understand .

Yep. Full payload is though, but Auto did succeed. Ai never did. Even after reducing it's fuel to 50%, it bounced dozens of times.
Auto-pilot managed a full load + full fuel on Axis-scramble-Crimea: altitude was 25m. There may be a land drop at a critical distance from runway's end; I noticed looking back I seemed to be flying lower then the land I left behind.  :P
