Title: How to continue to next mission in pilot career mode

Hi all. Silly question. Just completed my first ever mission in the pilot career mode. I have takeoffs and landings enabled in the difficulty settings, so after following the rest of my squad and eliminating all enemy aircraft, I followed them back to base and landed, but nothing happened. How do I complete the mission?

You need to quit the mission, and then press apply on the next screen you are taken to.
