G8N1 has a pilot cockpit and bombsight, no gunner stations. G8N2 has no bombsght since it has no bomb loadouts.
The MXY-7 type 22 is a bit slower than the type 11 but has fuel for over 11 minutes.
The classfiles are all unhashed, which has proven no problem for any modact game based on 4.12 and up

You don't. In the FMB take the G8N2 and the MXY-7-22, and set the G8N as the MXY-7s target for the first waypoint. To get the AI to launch it, set a ground attack waypoint for the G8N, with a specific target set.

Are you connecting the MXY-7-22 to the G8N2? Only that version will work with it. The MXY-7-11 will only work with the G4M2E

I am trying to build a test flight with G8N2 and the new MXY (in BAT 4.2.3 WAW). In 2 versions : one in which the G8N2 is flyable, the other in which the MXY is flyable.
Results :
-when MXY is connected to the G8N2, no matter which one is flyable, the game crashes at 100 % when loading the mission,
-BUT when MXY is NOT connected to the G8N2, the mission loads fine (no matter if the G8N2 is flyable, or if it is the MXY).
In the FMB, the waypoints look like in RABIZO's screen capture, as I can connect the MXY to the G8N2. So... is there anything wrong ? Has anyone tried to build a mission, to see the problem ?

The file is in the package, same as the old one.

No, you don't. Your problem has and never had anything to do with hashed or unhashed classes.

The F1M is normally loaded so I don't think that this particular fmd is creating a problem. The critical error is the one just below related to the absence of the G8N1 class file that will cause a CTD.
It seems that you have some install problem. Remember that this mod include two version of the same plane the G8N1 conventional bomber and the G8N2 that is just the Okha mothership.

For takeoff, only the carrier plane must have a takeoff waypoint. The drone aircraft must have a normal waypoint as 1st waypoint, connected to the takeoff waypoint of the carrier.
To detach the drone in flight, use "attach/detach aircraft" key (... not "bomb", in case that is not clear)
All this works with this pair.

New version installed here... and no more problems ! Working well in my BAT-WAW 4.2.3.
But I just can't get the MXY to attack the target (a US aircraft carrier)... and it seems that if I am in the MXY, G8N sits on the runway, starting its engine, but doing nothing (same happens if I am in the G8N with auto-pilot on)... to make this disappear, I had to make it air start when in the MXY.
Am I doing something wrong ?

Thank you for all the advice.
Like "Gaston", if I set "MXY-7-22" when taking off, I can't take off.
There is no change if it's set to "Auto".
The engine remains in a running state.
When moving it yourself, pressing the brake key set to "B" will make the aircraft start moving.
If "MXY-7-22" is not set, you can take off normally.
I was able to drop "MXY-7-22" by starting from the air.
I'm running the game with BAT4.1.3.

The code for this Ohka is the exact same as for the type 11 Ohka. Both can (or can't) do the same things.

On another hand... it seems this new MXY can be attached to the G4M2E : I have tested in a pre-existing mission just replacing the -11 with the -22 in the armament panel, and voilà ! Found myself sitting in the new MXY, attached under the Betty's fuselage in an airstart Kamikaze mission.

I have tested it in a vanilla BAT 4.3 and I have find 2 strange thing:
1) When on only 2 engines of the same side there is very few opposite torque and the plane is under control even if with no opposite rudder....maybe some check to the engine vector position could be necessary....
2) When trying to take off with the Okha I also had the AI unable to take off....BUT....if I set Renzan and Okha to different side (Renzan red and Okha blue for example) the AI can take off....

I can confirm what my predecessors wrote, except that in a couple of missions I have managed to take off but it does not happen smoothly,

In terms of docking code, the G8N2 and the Ohka 22 are identical clones to the G4M and stock Ohka. I could not say where any difference comes from.
As for that modded 11B: the drone code defines if a pairing is possible or not.
Mission building with Ohka has been try and error for me always. Setting a specific target and having enough altitude and the correct stand-off distance has to be figured out. Remember that the ohka 22 has more fuel.

Hello.
When I tried to start the "G8N Series" from takeoff, I was unable to "save" or "play" on several maps.
The same happened with other planes.
After restoring the "#WAW3 folder" and "air" documents to their previous states, I was able to resume the game.
When playing back a recording from "G8N1", the bomb bay door repeatedly opens and closes.
I decided to leave the "G8N Series" alone for a while and just check its movements.

If you set it to "Also include friendly escort planes" as in the image I uploaded, the fighter planes that take off first will judge the Ohka to be an enemy and attack it.
If you take off multiple "Renzan", the gun turrets will aim at the Ohka in the "Renzan about to take off" during takeoff.
I'm almost done editing my video, so I'd like to introduce it to you.

RABIZO I always set the combination of Renzan and Ohka on one side (blue) and, as you can see in the video, takeoff and flight took place without problems. The ground target for attack I set for the aircraft and for Okhi, it always worked, of course with different results. But in FMB it varies.

I posted a small update in 1st post. It replaces one classfile and is intended to improve the strong pull on take-off behavior.
Just put on top of the mod and replace.

I tried it.
When organized into a "Blue Team," we were unable to take off in "Auto."
To launch on my own, I had to press the "B" key to release the brake.
With a "mixed blue and red team," we were able to take off in "Auto."
After taking off, I canceled "Auto," pressed the "Z" key, started MXY, and returned "G8N" to "Auto," at which point "G8N" began strafing "MXY" in an attempt to shoot it down.
Perhaps my settings were wrong, but I didn't notice any change.

No error in the download...you have messed up something while adding it into your IL2....
You have to specify something more anbout your game and installation and log to be able to be helped by someone....
If you mean SAS but you're working on BAT this is one of the info you could provide us....
