I'm playing the Day and Night Navigation for the BF-110. I get the tones but the needles don't move.
I'm running BAT 4.22 with realistic navigation enabled.

To look at this, you might want to post the exact setup, which plane, what object...
Or better even, post the mission.
You are apparently correct. it seems, the Bf-110 cockpits java codes do not contain animation for these indicators. But fixing this is beyond my capabilities I am afraid.
But I'll look out of interest.
-
Thanks. I know it worked in the past. It's a training mission the came with BAT.
-
Well, it might be a stock mission for stock plane, actually?
It's not a function that came afterwards. The cockpits have gone through a lot of updating and modifying. There also was a significant change with these cockpits in stock 4.13, which might have messed up the code compared to its predecessor completely. It seems, that this instrument fell off the bench of some modder of the family at some point.
I'll tinker around a bit.

Try this. Put the folder into #WAW3 and test the G4 version.

;D ;D ;D ;D It works in the Bf110 G4!!!! ]thumbsup[
All the needles act like they suppose to when headed to the beacon/Lorenz or when they overfly the beacon.
Now with the Bf110 G2 it's dead ....so I guess this has to be written for every specific Luftwaffe a/c?
Thanks for your work.
FWIW I was flying only the G2 initially when I reported the problem here.
-
This was a test balloon. There are several variants of Bf110 cockpits, each that has the AFN-2 is defunct, but now I know how to repair it and I needed verification that my mod works correctly. I took a G4 since it's a nightfighter and most in need of homing.
With this info I can fix the others and the Me-210/410 as well.
This will probably go into the BAT 4.3 update
-
Well that is a good start...and I re-titled the SUBJECT to reflect that. Checked a few Luftwaffe a/c last night...the FW190 seemed okay but der STUKA didn't work. I believe I saw forum string that mentioned that.
Wish I could help you but have no JAVA skills.
Had trouble with the last BAT update so it will be a clean install next time.
-
Actually, I'll now look at the Stuka too.
I plan to make BAT 4.3 an update for all setups 4.2 and up so you you should be good wherever you are now. It will streamline the amount of packages again.

Will the light come on in the middle of the Stuka AFN-2 when flying over beacon?
Mongo likes light coming on.
At 3:55. Yeah I know it's ILBOS...but still :D

While we are here, can I have the cigar lighter and the ashtray in the cockpit? You know, in the Adolf Galland's style.
:P
I'll get my coat!
...and a coffee cup holder for my gunner...

Will the light come on in the middle of the Stuka AFN-2 when flying over beacon?
I have found that some cockpits do not contain the red light in their 3d structure. The G4 is one of those. But when the light is present, it should be animated by the code I used.
-
Even if the light does not come on I appreciate your efforts.
Thanks so much! :)

Funny enough, in a Ju-87 cockpit, the two needles are called "proppitch" 1 and 2... someobody apparently did not know what they were looking at :o
