Here is a new version of bolox cockpits, aimed at early P-51A(B)s and the USAAF style.
I wanted a cockpit suited for the P-51A mod available at this site!


Check the readme, trademark confusion by Tom of course.  

Credits for the two versions of this mod:

bolox (mod, gauges panels)
335th_F_Red (extras, reflection tga etc.)
cromhunt (gauges, panels)
Avala (panels, tgas)
me (rest lol)

Little tip, those of you who like Freddy's (335th_F_Red's) great P-51 cockpits, check the 4.09m section, the ones I posted there (at least the B/Cs) also worked in 4.12.

Any chance to get the Round mirrored Mk.IA working? I found them during Skinning the Mk.I's, mostly those Canadian squads and a few
RAF used them to improve the Allison Stang.

I tried myself hard tinkering in the hier.him's with meshes, the outcoming was ugly and didn't worked.
I will try your Pits.
Is there a mirrorless variant availlable?

I think I have one of those sent to lebig from HistoMod, not even got a comment on that one.
Be warned, seems that one in my version at least aka with crom's, bolox and my texture edits, seemed a system hog at least in HistoMod tests.

The mirror still sits too low.

Edit:

If you want the round mirror version I strongly suggest you take the pits I lately posted in the 4.09m section and insert the greener panel (find it, not too hard to find in the pits).

Or you search for the gunsight related mesh/mat/tga files and hier.him entries and copy them over into Freddy's pit, see if that works.

TBH I leave my hands of GB planes most of the time for jinx reasons.

PS gunsight is pricel etc in hier.him IIRC. You need to eliminate the files in the other hier.him and copy over those you want from the pit I just gave you, plus the tgas of course.

Then in effect you might have the pit you want. If I'm in the mood maybe I play with it. But TBH I finished on those.

Try it, it is really only trial and error to identify the files and entries needed..always backup.

Dunno if you understand German (the GDR flag hehe), if not, I can also pm you some tips in English..most fun is learning by doing anyway. As for manipulating meshes or classfiles, no idea.
