Hi Whitecat, thanks for your work.

I've only tried the pre-invasion map so far. I've found that in both FMB and when overflying, the island shows intermittent, flat, rectangular areas along the beaches, which jut out into the sea. Is this some problem with textures?

Hey, you're welcome I haven't seen that in my PC, could you post me a screenshot? Are you running in perfect mode? I forgot to mention it's a repaint only for perfect mode, not tested in other modes.

That's where the problem is. I can't run perfect mode as my graphics card died on me some time ago. I'm running the game on the integrated chipset.

Yea, I get the same flat jagged edges. Swell map otherwise. I was lookin' to using this one, a lot.

Sorry about that guys, it's a pity you can't appreciate the map in perfect mode. I don't have a clue about how to fix that, and to be honest I haven't tested it in other modes rather than perfect mode. I'll take a look this weekend around in forums to see why it can happening and if there's an easy fix for that, unless someone  comes before with a solution.

I get that effect sometimes on the extreme left hand edge of a map. I can't play in perfect mode either. It's got nothing to do with White Cat's re paint.
