I do not want to look ungrateful, but please, let me tell this: each time the very first post should be updated with the whole thing working OK (it is not this case), because it is very frustrating to pick all the required things bit by bit and to read all the posts in the thread... It took me much time to get all the things right as I am planning to use this nice plane in my campaign and I tried to install it manually as an average common user... Not an easy thing to do, really... So please, update the first post with working links.

I am under the impression that this plane currently only works in IL-2 4.09.

No, I have got it working under 4.101 without problem. However, that download in the first "updated" post does not work at all, and I had to surge through all the posts and had to try it many times before I got it to work. People should always update the first post in order to make things easily approachable. And this was not the first case when I had to go through pages, count them, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11 to find a good download.

Yep, I don't even remember where did I get the good working download. Once I got it, I saved in my fat mods folder (besides the game folder) for future reinstalls. I'm pretty sure many people have this mod working, but maybe It would be a good idea (with Skipper permission) to reupload a good version in a new post to make it easier to find.

Yes, I always strive to make all as user-friendly as possible. For this reason I made the Abissinia MOD Pack. For me Junkers F13 works like a charm. Just wanted to share my frustration here.
