A real Jetman
« on: November 10, 2010, 12:22:29 PM »

This Fridey (5.November),
Swiss avanturist and ex military pilot Yves Rossy has jumpt ,near Geneva lake, from a baloon and made 2 loops with special wings and jet power engines.

Rossi has jumped from the balloon Breitling Orbiter Esprit "from a height of 2,400 feet near Lake Geneva. Once activated the four jet engines under a new special wing, now less than previously used, leapt from the platform. After a short flight to the wing and stabilized in order to find the right angle to perform maneuvers succeeded for the first time to perform two loops before the parachute down to earth.

After landing John Rossi said a few words about the flight: "It was fantastic! The flight went well, despite the small problem when you start the engine. I managed to make two loops and I'm very happy."

This lover of extreme sports has managed to fly over the Channel and English Channel, and last year tried to fly to Gibraltar. The attempt failed due to strong turbulence, and Rossi finished in the sea.

Rossi hopes to be able to fly over the Grand Canyon (Grand Canyon) in Arizona, but for the enterprise will have to wait for U.S. permission.

Thought i should share this with you guys.

Stanko
