I have not seen anything on whether the over-G wingtips are going to be modeled, that would be a rude awakening to look left and right and see yer missing real estate on your wingspan...lol.

I can't wait to have this in it's own permanent slot.  Looking for the final on the late Corsairs too.  Can update the Korean missions I have built. 

Looks great, don't quit till yer done.........

Great job making the ripped up aluminum look right.

If you're feeling a bit bolder, you could make some more alpha cuts for the big holes in the tail, rear fuselage and outer wing (assuming there's underlying structure you want to show off).

Were the control surfaces of the F8F fabric or aluminum? In the latter case, the cutouts on the ailerons, rudder and elevators would look better if they were edged with a "chewed up aluminum" texture.
