Quote from "Mosquito-The Wooden Wonder" by Edward Bishop (Director of the de Havilland Museum)
"The Tsetse. Development from F.B.Mk6 with nose modified to take an adaptation of the six-pounder (57mm) anti-tank gun instead of four 20mm cannon. Four .303 in machine guns retained. The six-pounder could fire 25 shells in 20 seconds. Merlin 25 engines. 27 were converted from F.B Mk.6. Crew and engines heavily armour-plated. 50 gallon or 100 gallon drop tanks or 500lb wing bombs or eight 60lb rocket projectiles"
No definitive photograhic proof yet, although I have a couple of pics of Mosquitos carrying the dual rail rockets. The nose isn't visible so they could easily be FB VI's with the Banff field conversion allowing the carriage of eight rockets plus the long range tanks with the metal framework to stop the rockets fouling the tanks
