dont know about you guys, but i just love antishipping strikes, get a few of these babies, add a few of the costal command variants with rockets and nothing survives.

What more could we ask?  Well done all round; great work.
+1    ;) ;D

After a bit of fiddling around I managed to add rocket loadouts to the TseTse (8x60lbs) using the Tempest rocket rails, now it really packs a punch!

Hope you guys dont mind me tweaking it a bit for personal use...

Again, thank you for this amazing bird!!

I dont think anyone will mind. This is the SAS after all. We did not add rockets to this since the historical TseTse's did not have them

So, I think people will bombard you with requests if you do that :D. So if you do it, I think the simplest way is do do an "add on" new slot mod for this TseTse, which would basically be a single classfile and a new plane 3do(or a few plane 3do files), as a new slot "Tse Tse experimental" perhaps, to sit alongside this one.

It may not be historical, but, it is conceivable.

Then just say in the release thread of that one "requires this mod to work".

But whichever way you do it, have fun! :)

To everyone else, from my side, thanx for the kind words. Hope you have as much fun flying this as we all had making it.

And to boogabooga: Can you give Hades a PM heads-up about that ini adjustment. Since this plane will undoubtedly be in the next UP, he would be interested in adjusting those stone U-boats perhaps. He has probably already planned for this, but lets be sure.

A toast to Howlin!

you should be diving in at about 45 degrees, using AP ammo, you should aim at a single spot everytime, i.e just above the waterline, centre hull, should be able to knock out 2 cargo ships before your ammo runs dry.

Ok, thanks! But are you sure about the TseTse not having rockets? I could swear I've seen a guncam video on YT of the TseTse attacking shipping with both the cannon and rockets as well, or was that mixed Mk.VI/XVIII footage!?

I'm pretty sure some of you have already seen it but this is the video I was talking about:

There's a very intense battle scene right at the end of the video

the tse tse did not have rockets, they used to send out mixed flights with molins armed mossies, and rocket armed mossies, so a molins would go in first destroys enemy aa guns leaving the way for the rocket boys

FB XVIII Tse-Tse Fly : This multi-role Coastal Command anti-shipping strike aircraft had low-blown engines and carried a 57mm six-pounder Molins gun with 25 rounds plus four Brownings, as well as eight 60lb rockets or bombs. Total production 27.

Not the best or most reliable source I know...
