Just curious to see if anyone has made a campaign or mission set for the komet. Seems everything else has been done, why not this?

scrole down a bit till you get to "against overwhelming odds campaign", i was made a few years ago now but i have played it a few times and its quite good, with some training missions, some intercepts a high altitude, bomber formation intercepts and one of them is a dogfight.

Well worth trying out, and i think you get some good skins with it too.

Ok...now where do i put this?
Unzipped it has the normal 3 folders; missions, paint schemes, and the read me.
The read me's instructions on where to put what dont apply. I tried putting them in the IL2 directory, and then in the missions and paint schemes folders respectively, to no avail.

it works like any normal campaign.

put it into the directories as it unpacks and you should be good to play it.
check the unpackes file structure vs. the game structure. maybe a typo somewhere in the pack?!

Is not there a campaign called Sushi using the me163 and it is the use of the comet in Japan it is at m4t

See thats the ting, it didnt unpack as i know it (double click, auto run, browse for IL2 folder and click install), it just unzipped like any other mod leaving me with three separate folders. I just dont know where to put them to make them work.

unzip the fil you downloaded to somewhere, then you will have 3 files, ones a readme so dont worry too much about that it doesnt need to go anywhere, in your IL2 directory you will have a paintshemes folder - put the pilot and skins data in there (with all the rest of il2's painsheme data), then look for the missions folder in the il2 directory inside that there is campain>DE> put "Against_Overwhelming_Odds" in here.
Hope fully you get the idea from that.

Unfortunately all is lost with the current FM  :'(.  Originally the FM was too "hot", but i'm told one cannot bring back the original FM.
