Older skin I'd like to share:









(those are just unedited screenies from UP, sorry no time for fancier stuff)

This historical skin depicts a Hurricane Mk.I flown by Alexander Hess (DFC), leader of the Czechoslovak No.310 Squadron. He flew this particular plane (NN-A for Alexander, R4085) in a sortie on August, 31st 1940, claiming a Bf 109 and Do-17 destroyed within 10 minutes. On September 15th, he claimed another 109 damaged in a fierce dogfight over Essex, but his plane was hit just seconds later by another 109. Hess bale out from the burning plane that crashed near Billericay church. At 41, Hess was one of the oldest pilots in the Battle of Britain.

This paintscheme is dedicated to all brave airmen fighting for their (and mine!) homeland under the blue skies of Great Britain. Thank you ever so much!

I am sure all of you recognise the brave gentleman on the left  , the smiling bloke on the right hand side is Alexander Hess:

Hehe czesc Leszek! That must have been around 2003, how come you remember that stuff? No, honestly, I know I did quite a few skins od Polish and Czechoslovak aces back then but what looked allright in 2004 is not up to today's standards anymore and all the guys doing skins nowadays are way ahead my poor efforts. Anyway, this one has been done some 6 months ago and I planned to do a bigger collection of early BoB Hurricanes, but that never happened with me being busy / lazy.... This skin has been lying on my HDD since then and I almost completely forgot about it until I happened to be doing my work in the very same Billericay just couple of weeks ago, driving past the church... and decided to upload it as is. I don't think I have any of the il2skins.com stuff anymore, but that can be considered as great news regarding to the quality
