just reading your post in Flakiten's helipad-ship thread, and it reminded me of something i was meaning to ask you about the SNARK map - the two helipad runways near the King's residences.....
i've tried a few times to launch a heli from them, but the heli spawns some way away from the takeoff point, normally on the mountain slope, where it immediately just starts sliding down the mountain and crashing.......what d'you think could solve this problem?
i'm thinking that maybe it's because the heli spawns some distance from the actual take off point, as most planes....they need the runway length to start from, before actual takeoff.
a possible solution might be to specify another takeoff/landing spot, more or less the regular distance apart from the first, as per a regular runway....it doesn't really need to be 'represented' as in, having physical plates, or anything, just so that it allows the heli to spawn at the one end, in the correct place, on the launch pad.
this might cure the problem, obviously for takeoff, you'd need to assign the other one as the takeoff point, so that the heli will spawn in the correct place, near the first takeoff/landing point.....have i explained it properly?
just a thought, i'm not all that experienced with doing runways yet, but slowly getting there....
