Here are 5 skins that are based on Post SCW aircraft ...

Not much, but who ever thought there would be a map with a conflict for this period? In the skinshop section, someone is working on a Texan skin:

I'm unable to record Tracks on this Amazing map. I only get a "Failed" error. Does anyone else have this issue or know how to fix?  Thank You...

I realized with UP~Boomer's practical new objects collection I now can check all maps I didn't want to add to my last favourite 4.09m install (already had many objects in there and was afraid to mess it up in terms of loadtimes).
Tonight I tested this masterpiece, all I can say is wow! :)

Great textures and the way the houses and trees along with other MTO objects are placed, especially along the coast, is pure sightseeing. A great map! Loved the villages spread on hillsides and how they-along with their beautiful north African style houses- ascend to the sea.

Cheers :D

Thanks, this is a map on which I tried hardest to get a good feel of the place. Luckily there are many suitable objects for this part of the world.

I was reading the book Wind Sand and Stars recently- does this map cover the area known as Cape Juby?

Looks like it would. I was thinking of doing a Saint-Ex type mission in a scout pretending it was a Breguet 14.

Thanks

No, the Ifni map doesn´t go that far south so it doesn´t really cover the Cape Juby area ... but even so, the landscape would be about the same ...

Thanks Agracier- a little imagination will go a long way with such a landscape anyway :)

Ha ha ... obviously you never had to read ´le Petit Prince´in school as mandatory reading ... of course in school no one ever bothered to tell of his more interesting and heroic exploits as an aviator or pilot during WWII ... now that would have grabbed our interest. Nor did we have Internet (or computers) that would have allowed easier access to his life story.

That of stuff was not in accordance with the spirit of the times regarding educational guidelines ... I can´t get the phrase ´dessines-moi un mouton ...´ out of my head whenever I hear his name. Saint Ex deserves better than that as a legacy ...
