Congratulations for an amazing, excellent map of a forgotten conflict zone! I have installed it, bun I can't play a mission with it. I can edit the mission, but afterwards, I clic on play, I am saked to save, I do, and nothing happens :-(

Can you say which version of Il-2 you're using? The problem you describe is typical if objects are missing from your install. The map was made for UP3, but even then it still needed new objects to be installed for it to work/save properly.

In DBW 1.6 however, it is included in the default install and works without any extra objects being needed.

I installed "ifni map" in my 4.09m version. I can play "vol_Italy_Africa_Greece map", but not "Catalunya" nor "Ifni". Perhaps there are missing objects without installation for those maps?

I think that in 4.10 all the objects are present as defaults. Nothing new need be installed.

In 4.09 that is certainly not the case. It was always a bit of mess trying coordinate all the needed objects, since it was not just one set of installs that were needed, but often several.

I know there used to be links here for new object packs, but I've looked at several threads just now and don't see the links anywhere. When 4.10 came out, someone (Boomer I think?) made a complete object pack for all objects then in use. Maybe the link is here somewhere.

All that aside, I'd still recommend a DBW install as it eliminates all the mess of installing new objects and mods. You can always have 2 or more installs of Il-2 on your PC and both will work independently of each other. You can keep your old install and also have a working DBW at the same time ... all you need is HD space.

That's the object pack ... a good thing someone has a better memory than I do ... that pack should have all the objects necessary to use the Ifni map ...

I am not sure if I had downloaded all objects, because when I edit a mission (in a functional map) some of the list objects are empty. I have not tried this map in 4.10 because there... The Ha1112 Buchón doesn't work, either!

I have the Bouchon working in my DBW which is essentially 4.10 ... so there should not be any problem with that plane ...

An besides, it isn't a mandatory requirement that the Bouchon be selected to try out the Ifni map ... any plane will do if you want to use a map.

I wanted to fly the last combat missions with the "Messer", and when I watched the Ifni map, I thought it was PERFECT!
I'm afraid it's not :-(

Keep in mind some maps load (at least with my system and some IL-2 installs) in the Quick Mission sector and not in FMB:
Check the Sidi Ifni Quicks by Uufflakke, very enjoyable.

IMHO this map along with redko's desert maps and lately MANYSH's Libya 1941 is the cream of African maps.

I can't even edit the map in 4.10 installation in FMB, I installed those quick missions, but they can't be loaded, bad luck :-(
