I believe the first episodes have already been broadcasted, though I think you will have to look it up at the Top Gear website.

But seriously though "the spitfire saved the world from Hitler?" seems hes a master of overstatement. Explains why hes so found of European cars.

Quite!
Truth is that Hitler is the reason the Luftwaffe lost the Battle of Britain, and Hitler lost the war for Germany.
If you really wanted to say a specific aircraft "saved the world from Hitler" I think that credit is shared by the B-17 and Lancaster.
In reality though it was the M1 Garand and Lee Enfield. Aircraft are merely a support asset for ground operations 99% of the time.
