Ok Im on 4.101+SAS Modact 2.72+various mods.
I put the GrossDeutscher Rundfunk folder in the Radio folder, merged with the other GDR folder, then added the hitler speech patch.
Nothing.
I looked at Malones thread but Im not sure as it applies because I'm only playing single player missions.
Missions are created by the Nachtjager random mission generator. Plenty of beacons all over the board but none of them broadcast music. All just say omni-directional. Are there 2 different types of beacons, one for radio and one for nav?

CWMV, yes, there are different types of beacons, which have to be placed on the map from the stationary objects list.
that being said, i am sitting with the same issue with my 4.101 install. the radio beacons do nothing, even though i have complied with all the prerequisites, and a brand-new profile, to boot.... >:(

ya, i don't know who else to blame here but the dudes who implemented these beacons - obviously, it was designed to fail as soon as there are any mods present, which seems retarded, but hey....it takes all sorts to make the world go round. :D

Same here Malone. When I select next/previous beacon, the game crashes. I re-assigned the requisite keys, from Ctrl B & Shift B, in an attempted solution, but the game still crashes. I'm a mild mannered mouse of a man, but this is really pissing me off!

Have you switched ON music in sounds options of the game?

If not, you won't listen to music.

Glad I found this post....fooled around with the new navigation system in 4.101 for over an hour last night and couldn't get it to work with UP 3.0 or SAS mod activated version of game. This truly sucks!

Does UP3 support radio or it's still bugged?

It appears that the radio navigation feature only works with the stock game. I just tested this in 4.101 stock (no mods enabled) and it works fine.

Hopefully this will get fixed UP 3.0 as it is a very cool feature.
