IL2 Italian Language 4.10

Hi all!

For those interested i have translated IL2 to Italian version updated to patch 4.10.

This also applies to all items in the mission editor and Controls window.

Just overwrite the folder ì18n inside your folder Mods..that's all. ;)

Download ì18n Italian version.

The colors and backgrounds are very nicely done. They look much better.

So I was wondering if it is possible to use those graphic elements while still keeping the standard English wording?

yeah, it's quite possible, agracier.
best thing to do is to d/l it, and then investigate all the files contained until you locate the relevant ones...then you should be able to just use those, and leave the italian part out... ;)
i've done this before, but not in quite a long time, otherwise i'd remember which files it is, and be more specific, but it's not all that difficult to do... ;)

Hi!

This mod change "just" the language ...not the GUI Folder (repaint and restyle windows)!

That is my customer IL2  ;D...but if you like i will open another Topic to download it.

That would be very nice ... I was indeed certain that without tga files, there was no way to change the look of the GUI ... so yes, I would be very grateful if you would post the GUI files as well ... it's always nice to have some extra graphic changes to the way the game looks ...

Infact you right,whitout tga file you can't!
You must extract it, and whit any software like Paintshop,begin to create a new color or restyle.. and such. ... a lot of patience!:D :D :D :D

Bel lavoro veramente, complimenti! Una sola cosa da quando ho l'ho installato non mi compare più l'informazione sulla % della manetta, mentre le altre informazioni ( tipo flaps ) ci sono tutte, ho provato a quardare il controls_ru ma mi sembra tutto ok. Puoi vedere un attimo.

Mi correggo non appaiono neanche senza il file controls_ru. Deve essere qualche settaggio ma non lo trovo.
