I too need a link to the map, as I use a modact 2.5b 4.10 game for mapbuilding.

It's not actual map-building in Unlocked FMB - it's just using FMB+ to make a mission file with new objects. FMB+ is the a mod that allows you to use regular FMB but with access to otherwise-hidden objects (such as runway plates)

Alright, misunderstanding on my part. It can be so confusing sometimes! :) Will use my UP 2.01 install then.

Fellow Volunteers,

Has anyone found that sometimes, the new runway/taxi way objects disappear under the airfield plate? If so, does anyone have a fix or a work-around for this problem?

Cheers,

Riptide

Yes, I've experienced this. I placed a player controlled aircraft near the airfield (airstart) & played the mission in FMB (I wanted to check the plate appearance from the air), when I returned to FMB the taxi plates that were undert he original airfield plate were now visible :)

Yeah, I don't understand how it decides what's on top. Seems to vary when you load the objects. I'm seeing if I can find a global solution making the large plates transparent a little..

Some screenies of a couple of the redone airfields - RAF Tangmere and Abbeville (Thanks Riptide!)

Volunteers - if you're having trouble seeing the runways plates under the older airfield plates let me know and I can send you a file to make the airfield translucent.

It seems like my download is corrupt orsomething. The runway plates are only visible from a distance, closer up they are plain grey. Also one of the objects  causes a CTD.

Others have been ok with the download. Try downloading again, and check the files are installed in the correct places. :)

Canon, once modified will your map be lighter than the old one?
