I tried to install this on top of all the other SAS ships........
Armed Merchant
Assault ship pack
WW1 shipyard
Collossus
Warspite
Destroyers
Cargo ships
German carriers

... but I get CTD at 70% ....am I wrong or what?

I re-downloaded and it must have been that the site was inundated with others doing the same. I did it this morning at 0700EST and it dl'd in three and half minutes!

Thanks for the tip on the class files.

Now, just to be absolutely clear: I should remove the original ShipPack folder and all references to it in the chief.ini, ships.ini, stationary.ini, and technics_ru.properties files. Is this correct?

Looking forward to using this for simplifying the files and the menu. I'll be able to rearrange the technics_ru.properties so the ships appear in the order I want them to.

In a new game version such as 4.10

I usually put in Ship Pack 11 first with fresh ini's from SAS Mod Act no other additions.

That usually works with out any problems then add the others.

Hi Fred I had a little problem with W.W.1 Shipyard see the thread it all works now.

I crashed my installation numerous times when I was converting ShipPack. On each occasion it was a simple text error. Finding the error was not so simple. Its good to see that few problems are occurring after 100+downloads of the pack.

Plowshare - Yes, you should remove all of the old pack. Backup your entire Mods folder before starting. technics_ru.properties defines the text which appears in the menu. The order of the menu is defined by the first entry in chief.ini and stationary.ini

Hi Ashes,

I just remember when ShipPack 1 came out it said you had to be a genuis to install it.

Mine went in after second install  8) :D

I looked at every stationary ship and moving ship on a map and counted them all.  8) :P ;)

Just got frustrated abit with dog and wife nagging me during the first tideous install.

I installed them, every line is correct, the game not crash, but the ships not appear! D: The name of them are not in the "Ships" in the FMB.

There is probably an error in chief.ini if the name is not in the FMB menu.

Check your text entries.

Have you got text in two separate places for each ship.

Look for similar existing entries for ships which appear ok and make sure your text entries are in the same place.

For all that use old campaign and mission ( created for 4.09 ShipPack2 ) is necessary change in mission Chiefs section
the name ShipPack. in Ships. so the mission works properly.
