These combine the ones in HSFX/UP with a few static wrecks from the original ShipPack.
The Graf Zeppelin and HMS Tribal are omitted since they are now superseded by later work.

Main credit goes to FatCat (FC) for the original ShipPack compilation.
A full list of credits is in the installation instructions.
In re-compiling it I have done away with the separate ShipPack folder in the FMB menu.
It now all appears in the single Ship menu.

The installation for this is mildly complex.
Do follow the instructions provided in the Shippack2 folder.

If you've not installed many ships before it will probably be better to wait for others to iron out the bugs before trying it.
Backup your Mods folder before starting.

Bug Fix:

If you find that a few of the ships will not appear as stationary ships, only moving ships then check that the following entries are included in the Hull Durability section of ships.ini.
If not then add them in.

Hi all:

Is it just me or is the dl time atrocious? I have a speed of 20.8KB and a time-remaining of 2 hours and some-odd minutes. Is this right? I cancelled it.

Next question: What all ships are included here? Can someone give me a rundown on the list?

i don't really see why you need someone to list all the ships, mate...
can you not just accept that there are 57 new ships which you do not have in your 4.10 game, and will soon enough see which ones they are when you eventually install it?
or do you honestly want someone to now list and name every single one of the 57 ships for you?  ???

Plowshare -- I am in a relatively poor area for broadband. When I click on the download it gives me 57min at 41kb/sec. Well it is 145MB of files. ShipPack, if you are not familiar with it, is a collection of skin mods and frankenships by various contributors, originally compiled by FatCat (FC). ShipPack2 is a bit special to me since it was the catalyst that got me started on ship modding. Thanks FatCat.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I've had ShipPack from way back in the bad old days of AAA. These ships you've listed, except for the repaints and the top 10 on the list, I have. I might try to dl again for those ten ships.

Because of the slow dl speed why should I wait for something that, thanks to asheshouse's reply, I find I have already? And also, Malone, I DON'T have 4.10. Just a cowboy here that has a real old version of Il2 that's been heavily modded the old way - by hand. Further: Please don't try to convince me that I HAVE to have 4.10 to continue to enjoy this game - someday I'll join the second decade of the 21st century.

Plowshare -- The new ShipPack set all have different class files to the old one. Don't mix them up.

Kirby -- Skippers ships and Archies ShipPackIII are not included in ShipPack2. Things like the Heavy Cruiser Pack, the Submarines Pack and Flakitens Ships including HMS Collosus  should install ok in 4.10, but I've not got around to doing it.
