Well I just looked the Ice Station map, umm I feel totally inadequate, I think I will scrap my amateur attempt and leave it to the pros.

I've been fiddling,playing with and learning all about maps for two years now.

Now this year I'm just starting to put releasable maps to the community out in the IL-2 world

Oh mate i'm no proffesional the icestation map is my very first map and isn't even finished yet i'm a complete amateur at this with so much yet to learn, sure i've re-textured the online 8 map but icestation is my first attempt at anything from scratch so i urge you don't give up before you start, give it a go and don't scrap anything its great fun and addictive i've found that if you need help then you only have to ask and the pro's will offer advice so please don't give up

Thanks, I'll keep at it. I just learned how to make textures so I feel a little better. I still have a lot to learn and a lot to do to finish this map. Your IceStation map is amazing btw.

So what area do you have for San Fransisco?

I'm thinking if you've got a decent map I wont make a basic map for you.

I was thinking of making a basic map for you.  ;)

If you've got a decent map of the region I wont.

I'm working on two projects as it is.  8)

My map was a tad larger and had some hilly areas behind San Fransisco.
