Yeah, it's pretty cool to have some backing us up for this one, it'd be cool to have, and as a fantasy scenario ot might be launched from FW200's or 111's. Just saying.

Just wondering if in extreme cases the germans could have used Wasserfall main fuz and engines with steeply inclined launch ramps...
or..
someting less out there, especially if the V-1 is ramp launchable ingame.
The main fuz, and tail controls of a V-1, with a broader area but shorter spanned wings as a reusable launch vehicle; for surviving scrap n' parts supply, 2 RATO parachute bundles could be used nose & tail after takoff climb. a ahead of wing leading edge, is mounted the Natter.
Well they did conceive the A9, and other 'Mistles', so why not a maned rocket inteceptor launch via an early SAM/Cruise-Missle set up, if there was redundant or excess V-1's about the local conflict regions HQ.

I have one on the go (I think I remember the flame-war. Not sure if I was involved.) It's nothing special at the mo, but I'm working around the proviso that it would be air-launched, like the MXY suicide rocket. (I have found some references to 349s being test-dropped from 111s.)

One thing I am wrestling with though is that it was never fitted with ailerons. It only had elevators and rudders, and thus was steered like a missile. Would IL2 cope with this?

I would think so because of the komet, it has elevons and a rudder. maybe just take those atributes, tweak em a little, then apply them to the natters tail surfaces, but the strictly elevators on the komet might cause problems. thats just a guess though, the only thing i know about modding is that its too complicated for me. :-\ :P

that and my cpu doesnt have the room for it.  :(

il2 can accpet models from 3d max 9 as it's not the model you import but the .msh that comes from the exporting of your model
